God, bathrooms, and sally's

Just a few posts I have enjoyed reading...

1st, I'd like to draw some attention to a couple of posts about Ensatina- a salamander from California with a cool ring like distribution. The article is written by a fellow IB grad student- the work is being done by fellow MVZ students.

Bay Area herpetology: salamanders, part 1
Bay Area herpetology: salamanders, part 2

Physicians are not biologists (especially in church) Yes, thankfully, academics are MUCH more likely to be atheists that MD's.

I'm not quite sure, but it looks like Potty Girl: Enid's is a part of a series that rates bar-bathrooms in NYC in terms of their ability to accommodate, well, a little more than peeing...

Big Heather Mike always makes me laugh- never more than in The Gods Want Your Body Parts where he writes about worshipping a god that murders a ton of people in a frenzied rage and then wears a "girdle of dead men's hands" and bodies for earrings. This is apparently a true story... Man, you gotta love religion huh...
